Paul Bugeja (1913–1993) was a Maltese soldier in the British Army and an author recognized for his contributions to adult education, specifically in literacy efforts in Malta. He created the widely used Maltese-English and English-Maltese dictionary, Kelmet il-Malti. During World War II, he served in the Intelligence Corps, teaching English to Italian and Japanese prisoners of war in India. Bugeja authored various textbooks in Maltese, English, and Italian, significantly impacting language education.
