Paul H. Bresser was a German neurologist and psychiatrist, known for his work in forensic psychiatry. He led the forensic psychiatry department at the University of Cologne from 1970 to 1986. Bresser served as an expert witness in significant criminal cases, including those involving the Kirmesmörder and RAF terrorists. He played a key role in advancing logotherapy, a psychological approach founded by Viktor E. Frankl, through his position as chairman of the Society for Logotherapy and Existential Analysis.
