Patvakan Khachatryan was an Armenian poet and translator born on January 15, 1924, in Hrazdan, Armenia. He earned a degree in pedagogical sciences and became a member of the Union of Writers of Armenia in 1970. Khachatryan was recognized as an Honored Teacher of the Armenian SSR and was a member of the Communist Party of the USSR since 1949. He passed away in 2012 in Yerevan, Armenia.
