After his involvement in the Lufthansa heist, he was murdered by Thomas DeSimone. His assassination occurred while he was having breakfast at home. Edwards was portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson in the film 'Goodfellas'. He was born on January 15, 1947, and died on December 18, 1978.
