Papalazaros Neofitou (October 23, 1928 - July 5, 2020) was a Cypriot priest and leftist known for losing two sons during the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974 and the events leading up to it. Born in Choletria, Paphos, he served in the British Army until 1949 and adopted leftist ideas. He became a priest in 1965 despite his political beliefs. His son Kyriakos was found dead under suspicious circumstances in 1973, and another son, Sotiris, died in July 1974 during anti-coup resistance and fighting against the Turkish Army.
