Panmela Castro, known as Anarkia Boladona, is a Brazilian artist and activist born on June 26, 1981, in Rio de Janeiro. She uses graffiti to raise awareness about women's rights and the prevalence of gender-based violence in Brazil. Following the historic Maria da Penha Law in 2006, which recognized domestic violence as a human rights violation, Castro promoted this law through her artwork. She founded Rede Nami, a network aimed at educating women and girls about gender inequality through public art and conducting workshops addressing gender violence.
