P. N. Ramachandra Rao, born on 18 August 1955, is an Indian film director and producer known for his work primarily in Telugu cinema, along with some Kannada films. He hails from Chadalavada village and after spending his childhood in Parlapalli Village, Nellore district, he moved to Chennai to pursue a career in film. In 1973, he began his career by joining the well-known filmmaker P. Chandrashekar Reddy, contributing to the film Kottha Kapuram.
