Peter Magnus Nilsson, born on February 24, 1968, is a Swedish journalist and official known for his roles in media and government. He served as editor for Expressen from 1999 to 2008, later founding the website Newsmill. After its acquisition in 2012, he headed news at Bonnier AB and returned as an editor for Dagens Industri in 2013. In October 2022, he became state secretary in the Cabinet Office, but resigned in January 2023 due to illegal fishing controversy. Later, he was appointed CEO of the think tank Timbro in August 2023.
