Plathottathil Chacko George, born on August 28, 1951, is an Indian politician affiliated with the BJP. He was a seven-time MLA representing the Poonjar constituency in Kerala's Kottayam district, serving in the Kerala Legislative Assembly for 33 years. George has been part of various political parties, including KC, KC(J), KC(M), and KC(S). He was the Chief Whip from 2011 to 2015 and founded the Kerala Janapaksham (Secular) party in 2016. His party merged with the BJP in 2024, and he was a potential NDA candidate for the Pathanamthitta constituency in the upcoming elections.
