Peter Andreas Munch Mellbye (1918-2005) was a Norwegian architect primarily active in the Oslo area. He studied architecture at the Norwegian Institute of Technology when Norway was invaded in 1940. As a member of the Student Society in Trondheim, he fled to Sweden due to the situation. In 1954, he founded Mellbye Arkitekter, which still exists today under the name Mellbye Arkitektur Interiør since 2013. He also contributed as a writer for professional magazines and the Dagbladet newspaper.
