Orrel Lee Thomas, nicknamed 'Little Dean,' was an American Negro league pitcher active in the 1930s. He was born on May 28, 1913, in Mobile, Alabama. As the younger brother of Walter Thomas, he played for the Detroit Stars in 1937, achieving a 5.63 ERA over 40 innings across six games. Thomas's career was brief, and he passed away at the young age of 31 on January 8, 1945, in River Rouge, Michigan.
