Ondina Silveira Ferreira (born February 15, 1909, São Paulo) is a Brazilian writer, playwright, translator, and teacher. She made her literary debut in 1943 with 'Outros dias virão.' Ferreira was part of a significant wave of Paulista women writers in the 1940s, including notable figures like Maria José Dupré and Lúcia Benedetti. She became associated with the 'new Brazilian literature' and later received several prestigious awards for her works, including the Júlia Lopes de Almeida Prize and the Coelho Neto Prize for her novels.
