Ōmura Eishō (October 2, 1942 - September 21, 2015) was a Japanese sociologist known for his work in clinical sociology and the sociology of religion. He served as the president of Chikushi Joshi Gakuen University and was an emeritus professor at Osaka University. Additionally, he held a visiting professorship at Kwansei Gakuin University. Throughout his career, Ōmura contributed significantly to the understanding of social dynamics and religious contexts in Japan.
