Omer Liévin Benjamin Becu (1902-1982) was a prominent Belgian trade unionist known for his leadership roles in various international labor organizations. He served as General Secretary of the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions and played key roles in the International Transport Workers' Federation and the Belgian Union of Merchant Marine Officers. Becu supported anti-fascist efforts during the Spanish Civil War and was active in re-establishing trade unions in Belgium after World War II. His work included advocating for workers' rights in occupied nations and he held influential positions until his retirement in 1967.
