He served as the mayor of Nakhodka since 2004 and was the head of the Nakhodka urban district from 2005 until February 29, 2016. Kolyadin came to power with the support of Governor S. Darykin and had previously lived in Vladivostok for about ten years. He is educated as a mechanical engineer, is married, and has two daughters and two grandchildren. Additionally, he enjoys bodybuilding and literature on weapons.
