Olav Skogen (1917–2003) was a Norwegian resistance fighter during World War II. He served as the area chief of Milorg in Rjukan and was captured by Gestapo in December 1942. After surviving imprisonment, he wrote 'Ensom krig mot Gestapo,' detailing his experiences. Skogen became one of the few torture victims who publicly recounted his ordeal, focusing on the struggle against evil rather than glorifying it. Post-war, he held positions in the government and private sector, including Director General at Norsk produktivitetsinstitutt.
