Octagonal, also known as 'The Big O' or 'Occy', was a New Zealand-bred, Australian raced Thoroughbred racehorse born on 8 October 1992. He was sired by the champion Zabeel and was out of the champion broodmare Eight Carat, who produced several Group One winners. Octagonal was a champion racehorse, well-regarded in the racing industry, and had a successful racing career before his passing on 15 October 2016.
