Nynne Koch, born Anna Lise Koch on December 13, 1915, in Copenhagen, was a Danish author and founder of KVINFO in 1979. She was a pioneer in women's rights and came from a wealthy family. Educated at a polytechnic institution, she later became an engineer. Koch authored several crime novels, stories, and columns, and served as the editor for Denmark's first gender studies journal. In recognition of her contributions, she was awarded an honorary doctorate from Roskilde University in 1986.
