Born in Istanbul, she completed her education at Istanbul Kız Lisesi and later graduated from Istanbul University. Her doctoral thesis explored the originality of handwriting, a previously unexamined subject in Turkey. With over 30 years of experience at Bakırköy Mental Health Hospital, she continues to conduct handwriting analyses and engage in various writing studies.
