He served as the Secretary General of the Guardians of Islam in Bangladesh from November 15, 2020, until his death on December 13, 2020. He was formerly the Secretary of the Dhaka branch and also held positions as Secretary General of the Islamic Scholars Association in Bangladesh, Vice President of the Supreme Life Council of National Communities, and First Vice President of the Arab Schools Federation, becoming a recognized Islamic leader among Muslims.
