Norma O. Walker was an American politician born on June 26, 1928, in Las Animas, Colorado. She served as the mayor of Aurora, Colorado, from 1965 to 1967, being the city's only female mayor to date. Walker is noted for her efforts in stabilizing the city's water supply during her tenure. Additionally, she was a member of the National Highway Safety Advisory Committee until 1969. Walker gained public attention when she guest-starred on the TV show What's My Line on November 14, 1965. She passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 95.
