Nobuo Kiuchi (November 3, 1923 - April 24, 2021) was a haiku poet, watercolor painter, and illustrator from Tokyo, residing in Kashiwa. He is known as the first Japanese artist to be registered with the UNESCO Memory of the World for his works depicting the Siberian detention, a significant historical event. His artistic contributions and literary works have left a lasting impact on the cultural heritage of Japan.
