Noboru Sō (born September 5, 1931) is a Japanese poet and former teacher. He graduated from the Waseda University Faculty of Literature specializing in English. He has edited publications such as 'Kachō' after passing through 'Sedai 56'. Sō was married to Masae, the daughter of Tsushima clan leader, but she reportedly disappeared in 1956, which deeply influenced his work, including 'Tama Furi no Uta'. In 1991, he won the 24th Japan Poets Club Award for 'Kuni Zakai no Uta' and explored themes related to his wife's disappearance in 'Kioku no Minawa' published in 2007.
