Nisar Fatima Zahra was a Pakistani politician and religious scholar who served in the National Assembly of Pakistan. Born on 14 October 1935 in Lahore, she contributed to the Islamic Ideology Council and was instrumental in the creation of anti-blasphemy laws. Nisar Fatima established the Apa Nisar Fatima Girls High School to support girls' education in low-income communities. She was married to Iqbal Ahmed Chaudhry and was the mother of six children, including Ahsan Iqbal, a notable interior minister of Pakistan. She passed away on 2 September 1991.
