Nir Othman Abdel Moneim is a former Egyptian Minister of Justice, who served briefly from February to June 2014 following the ousting of the previous minister, Ahmed Mohamed Suleiman. He was appointed after the removal of Mohamed Morsi's government during the 30 June Revolution. During his short tenure, he focused on improving the judicial system, including increasing the number of judges to handle the rising caseload. Among his key decisions were legal powers granted to certain officials of the Greater Cairo Drinking Water Company.
