Nils Erik Ness is a Norwegian union leader born on February 7, 1955, in Namsos. He served as the president of the Norwegian Association of Occupational Therapists from November 19, 2014, until 2020, and was vice president from 2010 to 2014. He worked as a senior lecturer at Sør-Trøndelag University College. Ness has also held leadership roles in ENOTHE and WFOT, co-authoring standards for occupational therapy education. He received the Merit Award from WFOT in 2006 and became an honorary member of his association in 2007.
