Nikolay Ivanovich Krivtsov (September 3, 1945 – November 25, 2011) was a Soviet and Russian scientist specialized in apidology. He earned his Doctorate in Agricultural Sciences in 1992, became a professor in 1995, and was elected an academician of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 2007. Krivtsov was the director of the Beekeeping Research Institute from 1988 and was awarded the State Prize of the Russian Federation in Science and Technology in 2000. He was also recognized as a Distinguished Scientist of Russia in 2011. He authored works on apitherapy.
