Nikita Dyakonov was a Soviet pilot and lieutenant born on July 7, 1914. He served during World War II and was noted for his role in the 306th Attack Aviation Division. Dyakonov was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union posthumously on February 4, 1944, for his bravery in combat. He tragically lost his life on December 24, 1944, during military operations in Ukraine.
