Niels Alsing Andersen (June 6, 1920 - August 8, 1987) was a member of the Copenhagen City Council from 1966 to 1974, serving as mayor for the municipal health department from 1974. Initially trained in banking, he later worked within the Social Democratic Party organization, including roles at the Workers' Movement Information Center from 1956 to 1963 and as a press secretary from 1963 to 1972. Additionally, he served in the Folketing, Denmark's Parliament, from 1971 to 1973.
