Born on November 9, 1940, in Taurisano, he was also known as Lino and referred to as the 'Don Milani of the South'. He was an advocate of dynamic realism philosophy and dedicated his efforts to improve the lives of socially disadvantaged young people. Palmisano passed away on January 20, 1993, in Rome.
