Nicholas Geoffrey Higham, born on June 1, 1954, is a British journalist and author, primarily known for his work with BBC News. He studied English at St Catharine's College, Cambridge, graduating in 1975. Higham worked as a freelance journalist before joining the BBC as its first Media Correspondent in 1988. His coverage expanded to include arts in 1993, and he took on the role of analyst for BBC News 24 in 2003. He presented 'Meet The Author' until January 2016 and left the BBC in 2018. He resides in north London.
