Nibaran Pandit (February 27, 1912 - November 1, 1984) was one of the notable poets of the Bhatiali genre in undivided Bengal. During the Hindu-Muslim riots in Bengal in 1941 and the peasant movements in 1945, he wrote folk songs as a form of protest. He authored 'Bastuhaarader Moronkantha,' describing the plights of refugees in India.
