Thambu Nelka Shiromala, born on January 22, 1976, is a notable Sri Lankan police officer and boxing referee, recognized as the first female boxing referee in Sri Lanka. She has officiated numerous local and international boxing events, including the 2020 Summer Olympics, where she was selected by the International Olympic Committee. As a pioneer of women's boxing in Sri Lanka since its introduction in the 2000s, she earned the nickname 'queen of the ring' within the boxing community.
