Nasir Kazmi was an Indian poet born on December 8, 1925, in Ambala, Punjab, British India. He migrated to Lahore, Pakistan, in August 1947. He worked as an editor for two literary magazines and also with Radio Pakistan. Although he is regarded as a sad poet, much of his work revolves around themes of happiness, romance, and hope.
