Nancy Jane Ditz, born June 25, 1954, is a former American long-distance runner and a United States national champion in the marathon. She competed in the 1988 Summer Olympics and won her debut marathon, the 1982 San Francisco Marathon. Ditz set a California International Marathon course record in 1985. As an accomplished runner, she won multiple prestigious marathons and has worked as a commentator for NBC and CBS. A Stanford graduate, she has contributed to various sports and educational organizations and continues to promote athletics.
