Myron "Pinky" Thompson (1924-2001) was a prominent social worker and cultural leader in Hawaiʻi, recognized especially for his role as a trustee of Bishop Estate. He graduated from Punahou School and earned degrees from Colby College and the University of Hawaiʻi. His leadership roles included executive director of the Queen Liliʻuokalani Children's Center and the Hawaiʻi State Department of Social Services & Housing. He co-founded Alu Like and served as president of the Polynesian Voyaging Society, fostering Hawaiian culture and community throughout his life.
