Mustafa Thuraya (October 23, 1994 - January 7, 2024) was a Palestinian journalist and photographer born in Gaza City. He worked for various Palestinian media outlets and joined Agence France-Presse in 2019. During the final stage of his life, Thuraya reported on the ongoing events in Gaza, often accompanying journalist Hamza al-Dahdouh. He was killed alongside al-Dahdouh in an Israeli airstrike targeting a vehicle carrying journalists in Khan Yunis, while on a mission for Al Jazeera to cover the situation of displaced persons.
