Prof. Dr. Tengku Chik H. Muhibuddin Waly Al-Khalidy, commonly known as Abuya Muhibuddin Waly or Abuya Professor, was an Indonesian scholar and politician. Born on December 17, 1936, he served as the Mursyid of Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah Khalidiyah al-Waliyyah and led Dayah Darussalam Labuhan Haji in Aceh. He held a doctorate in Islamic Jurisprudence and was a professor at both the Institute of Quranic Sciences in Jakarta, Indonesia, and the International Islamic University Malaysia until his passing on March 7, 2012.
