Major General Raja Muhammad Anwar Khan HJ was a prominent figure in the Pakistan Army as its first Engineer Officer and the first Muslim Engineer In Chief. He made history as the first Muslim Sapper officer in the British Indian Army and served in its pre-partition Indian Corps of Engineers. His military service number in the Pakistan Army was 48 (PA-48). His contributions significantly shaped the engineering capabilities within the Pakistan Army.
