Mostafizur Rahman Fizar, born on November 29, 1953, is a former Member of Parliament for the Dinajpur-5 constituency in Bangladesh. He was elected as a member for the seventh time from the Awami League in 2018. He served as the Minister of Primary and Mass Education in the Government of Bangladesh. During the Liberation War of 1971, he enlisted as a freedom fighter and fought under Sector 7. In 2024, he lost his parliamentary seat following the dissolution of the National Parliament after the non-cooperation movement.
