Morley Calvert (June 11, 1928 - September 6, 1991) was a Canadian composer and bandleader, known for his works in brass music. Based in Brantford, he was associated with the Salvation Army, and his compositions often drew inspiration from French and Canadian folk music. He gained prominence for his significant contribution to the brass band repertoire, especially noted for his piece 'Introduction, Elegy and Caprice,' which was a required work at the first European Brass Band Championship in 1978.
