Mohinder Singh was an Indian field hockey player born on April 3, 1953. He was a member of the Indian team that won the Men's Hockey World Cup in 1975. He also represented India in the men's tournament at the 1976 Summer Olympics and participated in the 1970 Asian Games, although he did not play any matches in the latter. Singh served in the Punjab Police as a sub inspector and tragically passed away on September 19, 1977, at the age of 26 in Jalandhar.
