Vice Admiral Mohan Wijewickrama is a retired Sri Lankan naval officer and politician, born on June 12, 1953. He served as Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy from 2001 to 2005. Following his naval career, he was appointed as Governor of North Eastern Province from 2006 to 2007 and subsequently served as Governor of Eastern Province from 2007 to 2015. Additionally, he acted as the Governor of Northern Province and served as Sri Lanka's High Commissioner to Pakistan.
