He was known as the ‘Dean of Translators’ and the ‘Sheikh of Arab Translators’. He earned his bachelor's degree with honors in English language and literature from Cairo University in 1959, followed by a master's degree from the University of London in 1970, and a Ph.D. from the University of Reading in 1975. Enani authored over 130 works in Arabic and English, including essential translations and creative pieces.
