She achieved notable success at the 1975 World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships held in Madrid, where she won a gold medal in hoop, placed ninth in the individual all-around, and earned a silver medal in the team event. However, it's important to note that the competition did not include top teams from Bulgaria, the Soviet Union, and East Germany.
