Mishuk Munier, originally known as Ashfaq Munier Chowdhury, was a prominent Bangladeshi journalist born on September 24, 1959, in Noakhali District. He was the younger son of the martyred intellectual Munir Chowdhury. Munier was not only a journalist but also an academic, photographer, and film videographer. He is considered a pioneer of television journalism in Bangladesh and passed away on August 13, 2011.
