Miroslav Plešák (1943–2021) was a Czech dramaturg, director, and educator. He studied at the Secondary Pedagogical School in Kroměříž and Masaryk University in Brno, specializing in theater science. Between 1972 and 1989, he worked as a dramaturg at the Divadlo pracujících in Gottwaldov. He was also the artistic director of Divadlo bratří Mrštíků in the 1989/1990 season. From 1991 to 2003, he was a dramaturg at the Mahen Theatre of the National Theatre in Brno, collaborating with various directors. He enjoyed hiking, swimming, and Moravian wines.
