He also took part in the 1958/1959 Four Hills Tournament, achieving his best finish in Bischofshofen, where he placed 26th. At the 1962 World Championships, he finished 20th in the K-90 event and 24th in the K-60 event. After his competitive career, he became a ski jumping coach.
