Miloš Anděra is a Czech zoolog, nature conservationist, ecologist, educator, and scientific curator of zoological collections. He has been a long-time employee of the zoological department at the National Museum in Prague, serving as its head from 1988 to 2002. He is also a writer and publicist, having authored numerous scientific and popular science articles and publications. In November 2008, he received the Minister of the Environment Award for his extensive research in zoology and his exceptional work in the popularization of science and nature protection.
