Milan Al-Ashhab is a Czech violinist born on December 11, 1992, in Jerusalem. He is the son of a Palestinian father and a Czech mother, both of whom are doctors. After his parents divorced, he moved to the Czech Republic at age five. He was educated in violin performance, studying under Květoslava Gasilová and later Ivan Strauss. Al-Ashhab has won several awards at national and international competitions, with notable success at the 2018 Fritz Kreisler competition in Vienna. He has performed as a soloist in the USA and Germany and is recognized in the Czech Republic as a chamber musician.
